The Administration of the University of Sierra Leone (USL) has conducted the 2023 Convocation Ceremony for thousands of graduands from its associate universities. 

Yesterday, thousands of graduands from Fourah Bay College (FBC) were conferred Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates.

Also, today, thousands of graduands of IPAM, another constituent college of the University of Sierra Leone are conferred with Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates.

Tomorrow, the convocation ceremony will be climaxed as Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates will be awarded to graduates from the College of Medicine and Allied Health Science (COMAHS).

Many of the graduates expressed excitement to have successfully undergone the rigors of a University education.

One of the graduates narrates his ordeals to attend classes with African Young Voices Television.

“I stay at Eastend Part of Freetown and I used to Canal. Every morning, when coming I come with two clothes, the ones I will be using in Class, I will put in my bag and then the other one I would wear it. When I say Come, I would have to change to catch up with Classes. So it is not easy to be here,” he stated.

However, the 2023  convocation Ceremony happened against the backdrop of students paying NL2,000 for the Ceremony Package.
