The United States Embassy in Sierra Leone has congratulated the newly appointed chief administrator for the Freetown City Council (FCC) Rahman Tom Farma.

The Embassy also wished his Predecessor Festus Kallay as he assumes new duties as Chief Administrator for the Western Area Rural district council.

They believed that the new appointments might offer the opportunities to constructively build a standard and workable relationship among different parties and ensuring that the local government is very inclusive and very responsive to every citizen.

“Congratulations to Rahman Tom Farma on his appointment as the new chief administrator of the Freetown City Council and best wishes to his predecessor Festus Kallay as he assumes new duties as chief administrator for the western area rural district council.

“These new appointments offer an opportunity to rebuild constructive working relationships among all parties and ensure that local government is inclusive, responsive to citizens, and building national unity” they stated.
