Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr provided an update on the ongoing efforts related to Resolution 4 of the #lAgreement for National Unity. This resolution addresses issues concerning politically motivated detainees, court cases, displaced and exiled persons.

In a recent post on X, Mayor Aki-Sawyerr detailed a productive meeting involving representatives from the All People’s Congress (APC) and Deputy Justice Minister Hon. Alpha Sesay. The meeting was also attended by the Director of Prisons and the Director of Prison Watch.

The discussions resulted in the establishment of clear next steps and timeframes aimed at accelerating progress on the resolution.
