APC Headquarters in Freetown Allegedly Attacked by Security Forces

In the evening hours of today, 25 June 2023 there are reports of security forces allegedly firimg teargas and live bullet directly inside the headquarters of the main opposition party, All People’s Congress (APC) in Freetown.

Th APC Leader and Presidential Candidate, Samura Kamara and other party officials are currently inside the building, worrying for their lives.

“We are all Sadined inside the APC office. Our leader and the rest of the party is under siege. This is sad for democracy,“ said Sidi Yaya Tunis, Publicity Secretary of the APC, calling on the international community and other observers to come at their rescue.

The APC party is scheduled to hold a press conference this evening to provide updates to their supporters regarding the elections.

In the aftermath of the recently concluded elections, the APC has expressed its unwavering determination to secure an indisputable victory.

Earlier today, the party leader and presidential candidate voiced concerns about the integrity of the electoral process. He raised questions regarding the transparency and fairness of the recently held polls.

Politics is not a do or die game. The APC that I grew up with cannot stand opposition life or concede defeat. Their 99 tactics ranges from the imaginable to the unimaginable. There is nothing that they cannot do for power. Look at the lies of the APC mayor just to plunge this country into war. Setting fire on their own party office is child's play. They can do anything and pretend that it is being inflected on them by someone else. This clearly does not bear a good child for our children. Most of these selfish politicians have all that they depend upon overseas. God will surely pay you all for breeding unrest in our country.
