The Chief Imam of the newly opened Themne mosque at Blama road in Kenema, Alhaji Ibrahim Amin Conteh has declared his support for President Bio amidst the development and transformation of the mosque.

He maintained that, no president in the history of Sierra Leone has honestly delivered developmental projects as compared to president Bio or even paid a visit to the mosque for decades.

The Imam expressed that tribalism should have no place in their congregation, adding that there is a need for national reconciliation. He discouraged the idea of hate speeches at all levels.

“No president has ever visited our masjid from the democratically elected president Kabbah, it’s only you (President Bio) who have done this today. The visitation of the president I know was pioneered by the Chief Brima Swarray and others and we are very happy for that. President Bio, your work will pay you until eternity. Thank you for having us in your agenda as we appreciate this very well’’. He said.

The chief Imam declared his support to President Bio for the 2023 presidential elections and urged him to keep doing the good work at all times to ensuring that the country is well developed and united. He prayed for the president and his administration.
