Leone Stars delegation led by the Sierra Football Association Vice President Harold Nat-Johnson has left Lembe-Yezoum and have been officially welcomed in the City of Buea, South western Region Cameroon for the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations Cup tournament final Match.
The Confederation of African Football and the Local Organizing Committee today formally received Leone Stars of Sierra Leone ahead of Leone Stars final Group D match against Equatorial Guinea on Thursday in Limbe.
Leone Stars must win against Equatorial Guinea if they are to keep their hopes alive in the Competition.
Leone Stars Leader of Delegation, Harold Nat Johnson expressed the contingent’s satisfaction with the reception accorded it at on arrival today, while commending the Confederation of African Football for the hospitality so far.
Leone Stars will take on Equatorial Guinea in the final group phase of their 3rd appearance in the Africa Cup of Nations, at the Limbe Stadium in Cameroon.
The tournament is taking place in the Republic of Cameroon from 9th January – 6th February.
