On Monday morning, residents of Tihun and the Presidential Neighbourhood, Sogbeni Chiefdom, the hometown of His Excellency Retired Brigadier Dr. Julius Maada Bio, were awakened by the sounds of caterpillars and other heavy-duty machines.
Paul Damullay and his hardworking team were busy clearing the Tihun playing field in preparation for the installation of an artificial turf. The project is spearheaded by the development-focused NSA Executive Director, Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai.
The Tihun Artificial Turf project comes as Dr. Abdulai nears completion of the Kailahun Artificial Turf project, which is now awaiting commissioning.
Other immediate beneficiaries of the ESA Artificial Turf Project include Mattru Jong and the Bo School.
