Sierra Leonean FIFA-Badged Referees Umu Marrah and Precious Amara Depart for Senegal while Rashid Conteh and Aminata Fullah set off to Egypt for CAF Course.
Sierra Leone’s FIFA-badged referee Umu Marrah and FIFA-badged assistant referee Precious Amara have departed for Senegal today Saturday, May 18 following their selection by the West African Football Union (WAFU Zone A) to officiate in the U-20 Female tournament, which is scheduled to take place from May 20th to May 30th.
Rashid Conteh and Aminata Fullah have also set off from Sierra Leone to Egypt to take part in the CAF New FIFA Referee course in Cairo.
The course is scheduled for Cairo from Monday, May 20 to Saturday, May 25 2024. This training programme which was instituted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in 2014 for new CAF FIFA Referees, aims to give FIFA referees firsthand knowledge on new regulations and laws of the game.
This course, designed for new FIFA Referees and Assistant Referees, will focus on enhancing their skills in the physical, theoretical, and technical aspects of refereeing.
