Leone Stars Goalkeeper, Mohamed N. Kamara, will open his newly constructed house this week after its successful completion.

Kamara started the construction of the building when he started getting International call-ups to represent Sierra Leone.

The goalkeeper hailed from a humble background in Kambia District.

In 2022, he signed a lucrative two-year deal with one of the most successful clubs in Guinea’s Top League called Horoya AC.

Before his signing for the Guinean side, Kamara, 23, played for East End Lions in the Sierra Leone Premier League. The goalkeeper who made his Africa Cup of Nations debut made a  remarkable impact for Sierra Leone in the tournament.

Kamara has been one of the finest athletes the nation can boast of in terms of manning the post. He was named Man of the Match in the match between Sierra Leone and Algeria on January 11, 2022, at the Japoma Stadium in Cameroon, after he put up a fearless display to help his side secure a goalless draw against one of the tournament’s favorites.
