Liberia Female U-20 Thrash Sierra Leone 7-0 to Qualify For WAFU Semifinal

The Liberia U-20 female team has secured a decisive victory to earn them a spot in the semifinals of the WAFU A U-20 Women’s Tournament.

Edwardline Jackson’s hat-trick, brace from Louise Brown and a goal apiece from Jessica Quachie and Anita Tarpeh gives the Liberians 7-0 win against Sierra Leone.

The Shooting Starlets faced a tough defeat against Liberia, losing 7-0. Despite their best efforts, playing with one player down following a red card in the first half proved to be a significant disadvantage.

The Sierra starlets earlier showed great resilience and spirit, especially after their impressive 2-0 victory against Mauritania in their opening match.
