Sierral Female Premier League champion MOGBWEMO Queens have secured the signing of three Gambian nationals
Following their remarkable performance and their achievement as runners-up in the recently concluded CAF WAFU Zone A Women’s Champions League qualifiers, Mogbwemo Queens Football Club has sealed the signing of The Gambia nationals.
The three Players include Veronica Sambou from Koita FC, Penda Colley, and Awa Jewo from Red Scorpions FC (Gambia].
Mogbwemo Queens Football Club recently announced the recruitment of players both local and foreign (players) to add to their Squad ahead of the 2024/2025 SLE Women’s Premier League season.

Meanwhile, Mogbwemo Queens Football Club has been honored with thirty-three pairs of boots. This gift was presented by the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Mr. Thomas Daddy Brima, in recognition of the team’s outstanding performance.
Although securing the runner-up position was not the club ultimate goal, this achievement marks a significant milestone for women’s football in Sierra Leone.
Mr. Brima commended the management for their unwavering support of the team, especially in the face of the challenging circumstances currently affecting the country.
