Sierra Leonean international soccer player and philanthropist; Mohamed Buya Turay received a warm welcome in his hometown of Magburaka in Tonkolili District, Northern part of Sierra Leone.

Buya made the visit to his hometown with the theme “Home coming” on 11th February, 2022 after their exit from the African Cup of Nation (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon. Series of activities like football match, rally and others were organized to welcome Mohamed Buya.

The footballer was hailed by his hometown for his philanthropist role in supporting his people. In 2020, he presented 6 brand new motorbikes to the youths of Magburaka. With the support he has been rendering to his people, he was given a warm reception.
