Sierra Leone international striker Musa Noah Kamara, popularly known as Musa Tombo, has ended the 2025/26 Leone Rock Premier League season without scoring a league goal, marking the first goalless top-flight campaign of his professional career.
The development represents a rare setback for one of Sierra Leone’s most recognised forwards, who has built his reputation through consistent goalscoring performances and individual achievements in domestic football.
Musa Tombo first made his mark in the Sierra Leone Premier League during the 2018/19 season with East End Lions, where he won the Golden Boot after scoring 15 goals. He later claimed his second Golden Boot title with Bo Rangers in the 2021/22 season, scoring 19 goals, before securing a third award with Ports Authority in the 2023/24 campaign after netting 15 goals.
His Golden Boot achievements include:
– East End Lions – 15 goals (2018/19)
– Bo Rangers – 19 goals (2021/22)
– Ports Authority – 15 goals (2023/24)
Although the 2025/26 season proved challenging for the striker, Musa Tombo remains one of the most accomplished forwards of the modern Leone Rock Premier League era, having won the league’s top scorer award three times.
The 25-year-old striker, who turns 26 in August, will be hoping to regain the form that previously made him one of Sierra Leone’s most feared goalscorers.
While the latest campaign marks the first time he has failed to score in a top-flight season, his previous achievements leave him with the opportunity to bounce back and add another chapter to his career.
