The Sierra Leone football community has been struck with grief following the passing of Ibrahim Sesay, popularly known as “Tyson.”

The talented attacker, who played for Real Republicans, as well as former clubs FC Johansen and Old Edwardians, died today November 14, 2024, at Life Care Hospital.

Tyson, known for his skill and determination on the field, was a well-respected figure in the Sierra Leone Premier League. His contributions to Real Republicans, and his previous stints with FC Johansen and Old Edwardians, made him a fan favorite and a player who commanded admiration from teammates and opponents alike.

His sudden death has sent shockwaves throughout the football fraternity, with tributes pouring in from clubs, players, and fans.

Many have described him as a passionate and dedicated player who gave his all to the game.
