The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Executive Committee has announced the date and location for the 2024 SLFA Ordinary Congress.
Set to take place on 1st March, 2025, the Congress will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Freetown.
This annual event is a key moment for the football community in Sierra Leone, providing an opportunity for members to convene and discuss important matters concerning the sport’s governance and future.
In accordance with Article 12, Paragraph g of the SLFA statute, members wishing to submit candidates for the SLFA Independent and Judicial bodies are invited to do so, following the guidelines outlined in Article 25, Paragraph 8. This ensures a transparent and organized process for electing individuals who will play a crucial role in the administration and judicial affairs of the association.
The SLFA has also stated that the formal convocation of the Congress will be communicated at a later date, in line with Article 26, Paragraph 4 of the SLFA statute. This notification will include further details about the specific venue in Freetown and any other relevant information pertaining to the Congress.
