Former Deputy Inspector General of Police Under Bench Warrant

Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker, on Saturday 4 March 2023, ordered a bench warrant to arrest the former Assistance Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Oliver Somasa and his 360-Degree Security Solutions SL Ltd Company for failing to appear in Court to answer to charges and not complying with the NASSIT Act.
The arrest warrant came when the NASSIT Lawyer UDF Sesay Esq applied for the bench warrant in Court.
The defendant, 369 Degree Security Solution (SL) Limited and Oliver Sosama are charged with one count of failure to comply with the provision of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) Act No.5 of 2001 and the regulations of 2004, contrary to section 32 (1) (e) of the NASSIT Act No.5 of 2001.

By the particulars of the offense, 360 Degree Security Solutions SL Limited and Oliver BM Somasa being the establishment and employer respectively under the NASSIT Act No.5 of 2001, on Friday 25 November 2022, at No.50 Lower Pipe Line Drive, Wilkinson Road, failed to comply with the provisions of the aforementioned Act.
However, no submission of documents has been presented for inspection in Court.

Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker has adjourned the matter to Friday 10 March 2023, for another hearing.
