The Sierra Leone DJs Union (SLEDU) has tendered an apology to the people and the Mayor of Kenema, on behalf of its President, Ibrahim Matthew Koroma, popularly known as Prezo Koroma, over an ongoing legal battle in Bo.
The union apologised for any inconvenience, misunderstanding, or concern arising from the recent incident involving its interim president to the Mayor.
As a professional body committed to discipline, respect, and national development, the union regrets any actions or circumstances that may have undermined the duty of public office or disrupted public confidence, and reaffirms its commitment to upholding the laws of Sierra Leone and promoting responsible conduct among all members.
The union respectfully appeals to the Judiciary, particularly the Magistrate of Bo court no.2, Magistrate Samuel James Brima, to consider granting bail to Ibrahim Matthew Koroma.
The union assured the court and all relevant authorities that Koroma is prepared to comply fully with any bail conditions and remains committed to cooperating with the legal process as it unfolds.
The union also expressed confidence in the fairness, wisdom, and impartiality of the justice system. It called on its members and the general public to remain calm, law-abiding, and respectful as the matter proceeds through the appropriate legal channels.
