Young Sierra Leonean Albert D. Bangura has emerged as the 2023 Overall best graduating student of the Computer Engineering Department in Bahcesehir  University, Cyprus.

Albert was hailed from the Prince of Wales Senior Secondary School before pursuing his University education in Cyprus.

Expressing her reaction to his  valedictorian news, Bangura posted on his Facebook

“Yesterday, I was informed by mail that I am the best graduating student of the Computer Engineering department, I was really happy but this is something I had already predicted.
However, the one that really got me overwhelmed with joy today was when I was informed and congratulated by the Office of International students that I am the Overall Best Graduating Student, Class of 2023.

In addition, today I was invited by the chancellor/rector of my university to his office for the first time. Amongst many other things, we discussed about my Capstone project.
For a long time, I had looked forward to meeting with him. Such a great personality and I am thrilled at how he believes in my potential, his willingness to support me and above all his desire for me to continue at this great university.

He also congratulated me for emerging as the BEST GRADUATING STUDENT, Class of 2023″
