Big Sister Roommate 7, Elizabeth Boi Khadie Bosco-Musa, has vowed to empower women and girls as she prepares to participate in the 3rd edition of the 2021 Big Sister Empowerment Show, a live TV reality show that gathers 12 Sierra Leonean ladies in one house for two months.

This year’s show is themed “BESTYZ SEASON”, as the Roommates vie for an opportunity to stay in the house at the end of every week after a public vote with the winner of the show taking home $50,000 (Le 500,000,000).

“I am going into the Big Sister Empowerment Show because I need the money to empower women and girls through business. If I am empowered, I know many other women will also be empowered, so that’s why I need the money”, she said.

Elizabeth continued: “I know the Big Sister Show is a platform to empower women and showcase their talents to the world. The show teaches us about gender, so when one comes out of it, one will use the knowledge gained to empower society including women and girls”.

The 21-year-old, representing TEAM BOSSBEE, said she was uncertain of making it to the house. “That’s the honest truth. I thought they would not even shortlist me for the show. So, when I got a call and was told the good news, I was extremely happy”.

Since secondary school, I have been helping my peers and other children which led to the creation of the Helping Sisters’ Foundation”, she explained. She established the Foundation together with her friend, Sadia Susan Sesay.

“Personally, I help people because I know what it means to be raised by a single parent. I am not saying this because I am going to participate in the show but because I have been doing it before,” said Elizabeth.

She loves acting which she normally does on Tik Tok to exhibit her talent to the world. “And I think Big Sister will give me the platform to show my acting skills and talents so that people would know I am capable of acting a movie”.

Elizabeth Boi Khadie Bosco-Musa is a student of the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) pursuing Banking and Finance. She lost her father at age 9; raised by her mother since. She is a single mother of a two-year old girl.

She attended the SOS Hermann Gmeiner International School in Bo from Kindergarten to High School. She is determined to win this year’s show and such has called on Sierra Leoneans to give her their unflinching support.
