Popular Sierra Leonean comedian, Faculty, has finally broken his silence on the ongoing controversy surrounding the presidency of the Stand-Up Comedians group.

In a candid statement, he reflected on the challenges of friendship, loyalty, and trust within the comedy industry, particularly among the Big 6 Comedians, a group he once considered his brothers.

Faculty revealed that recent events had opened his eyes to the true nature of his circle, emphasizing how people can pretend to be close but struggle to genuinely celebrate each other’s successes. He cited his Endorsement Ambassador deal as an example, noting that some fellow comedians found it difficult to congratulate him.

Touching on the presidency issue, Faculty expressed disappointment in those he once trusted, suggesting that hidden rivalries and disguised enmity have come to light. However, he made it clear that comedy is not just a profession for him but a divine calling, urging others to be mindful of the company they keep.

“Blood is thicker than water, and I’m willing to lay down my life for what truly matters,” he stated, hinting at his unwavering commitment to his craft and principles.

As the situation unfolds, the comedian’s remarks have sparked discussions among fans and industry stakeholders, raising questions about unity and support within the comedy fraternity.
