Musa Kobba, the Mayoral Aspirant for the Bo City Council representing the Sierra Lone Peoples Party (SLPP), has reassured residents of their unwavering commitment to peace.
This assurance comes in the wake of recent protests that posed a threat to the city’s stability.
In response to the distressing news, Kobba, accompanied by the District Chairman aspirant and security forces, took immediate action to restore calm and secure the safety of Bo City’s inhabitants, allowing normalcy to prevail.
“Over the weekend, we received news that directly threatened the peace and stability of our beloved nation. This caused panic among many residents, hindering their daily routines,” expressed Kobba during a public address.
As the prospective mayor, Kobba joined forces with the hardworking Bo District Chairman, Mohamed E K Alie, to embark on a walk through the streets of Bo City, allaying people’s fears and reaffirming their dedication to upholding peace and stability before, during, and after the upcoming elections on June 24, 2023.
Hand in hand with the citizens, they engaged in conversations, encouraging all eligible voters to exercise their democratic rights and make their voices heard through the electoral process.
“We are confident that, together, we will create a thriving Bo City that we can all be proud of, with peace and stability at the forefront of our agenda,” Kobba emphasized, highlighting the importance of unity and progress.
