On Tuesday 20th February 2024 the Campaign for Human Rights and Development International (CHRDI) delegation engaged in a constructive dialogue with the United States Ambassador to Sierra Leone and the Head of Economic Affairs (ECON) at the Embassy in Freetown.
The meeting delved into various crucial topics, including social policy, ongoing electoral reform initiatives, the constitutional review process, human rights concerns, and the enduring partnership between CHRDI and the US Embassy in Sierra Leone.
The US Ambassador, during the discussion, reiterated the US government’s steadfast commitment to supporting the people of Sierra Leone. Expressing gratitude, the Ambassador acknowledged the tireless efforts and invaluable collaboration of CHRDI with the Embassy.
The meeting served as an excellent platform for both parties to exchange insights, share perspectives, and further solidify the robust partnership between CHRDI and the US Embassy in Sierra Leone.
This collaborative effort reinforces the commitment to addressing critical issues and fostering positive developments in Sierra Leone’s social, political, and human rights landscape.
