The Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) Student Union Government (SUG) has proudly unveiled its first-ever Mr. & Miss IPAM (Who Wears the Crown) Pageant and Award Ceremony.
This milestone event, scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the prestigious Family Kingdom, marks a historic moment in the institution’s legacy.
Themed “Telling Your Story,” the pageant provides a unique platform for students to showcase their talents, personal journeys, and creativity through fashion.
The SUG aims to empower students by offering them an opportunity to harness their skills and talents in a meaningful and impactful way.
The pageant is not just about individual achievements but also serves as a celebration of IPAM’s collective success. It is a night that highlights the institution’s cultural diversity, academic excellence, and the innovative spirit of its students.
“We are innovators, professionals, and administrators,” said the SUG, reinforcing the event’s mission to present IPAM’s finest to the world.
The competition will see ten contestants—six males and four females—vying for the prestigious titles of Mr. and Miss IPAM.
The contestants are Emmanuel, Fawaz, Hassan, Edward, Andrew, Suliaman, Jay Will, Tickdankay, Sahidatu, and Sia, all eager to leave a lasting impression and make history.
In addition to the pageant, the ceremony will honor outstanding students, staff, and organizations through 21 award categories. These include the coveted titles of
Most Influential Student of the Year, Best Entrepreneur of the Year, Best Department of the Year, and even fun categories like Best TikToker of the Year and Best Canteen Staff of the Year.
This landmark event promises to be a night of unforgettable memories, as the IPAM community comes together to celebrate excellence, talent, and diversity.
