Popular entertainment journalist, Ibrahim Prezo Koroma has facilitated the release of two inmates from Pademba Road Prison through his Second Chance Foundation.

According to Prezo Koroma, keke rider Ibrahim Sandy and Okada rider Ibrahim Fofanah were released in the afternoon hours of Friday 14th April 2022 after spending a year and a few months in the Men’s Correctionsl Center with the help of the Second Chance Foundation.

He added that their sentences expired in January, but they could not return home because they could not pay the fine of 2 million leones and 2.5 million leones.

Prezo koroma further revealed that a sister in the United Kingdom through the Fantacial World Platform donated the sum of Le4,500,000 for their Court fine. He added that Both of them are now home with their families.

“I will be visiting them this weekend to engage them with regard to the way forward after coming from Prison” 

“We have similar cases across various Correctional Centres in the country. I am kindly asking everyone to support the Second Chance Foundation in the bid of helping our brothers and sisters behind bars,” he said.

The second Chance foundation was unveiled by the popular entertinment journalist earlier this year after he was release from prison and its focusing at helping inmates at various correctional centres in the country.

According to prezo koroma, the Foundation is principally established based on his experience in prison, which lasted for more than eight months while serving his time, and how displeasing it can be to any person who has been there and witnessed the suffering of the majority of the Inmates.

It is against this backdrop that I am enthusiastically reaching out to family members, friends, organizations, business entities, and stakeholders to solicit funds in a bid to address the various issues within the prison jurisdiction to the best of my knowledge,” he noted.
