Resident Magistrate of Bombali District, His Worship Magistrate Mustapha Braima-Jah has remanded eight (8) accused persons brought before the Court to answer to two Counts of Conspiracy and Unlawful Assembly.

Accused persons, Mohamed Allie Kamara: Abdul Koroma; Daniel Gbla; David Hassan Kamara;Ibrahim Jalloh; Osman Mohamed Tholley ; Mohamed Jalloh and Chernor Ibrahim Jalloh on Tuesday, 9th August, 2022 at Koindu Junction in Makeni City, Bombali District in the Republic of Sierra Leone conspired together with other persons unknown to commit crime to with, Unlawful Assembly contrary to section 24 (i)of the Public Order Act No. 46 of 1965.

It was further alleged that the eight accused persons in Makeni City, were found convening public meeting without lawful authority.

They were all denied bail and remanded at the Correctional Centre by His Worship Magistrate Braima-Jah. The matter was adjourned to 16th August, 2022.
