The Sierra Leone police have fired multiple teargas at the opposition All People’s Congress members in Kokwema in Kono.

A widely circulated video on social media showed police officers firing teargas at APC members who, according to the video, were gathered to conduct delegate elections ahead of the APC National Emergency Delegate Conference.

The video showed people running up and down, finding shelter as the police were continually firing teargas.

It unclear why the multiple teargas were fired. According to the video, the police were being offensive to members of the APC.
