President Julius Maada Bio has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to realizing the “Feed Salone” agenda, a national initiative aimed at boosting food production and ensuring food security in Sierra Leone.

In a statement released today, President Bio highlighted the importance of a well-structured approach to achieve this goal. He chaired a meeting of the multi-sectoral presidential council for the delivery of “Feed Salone,” marking the first anniversary of the initiative’s launch in Pujehun.

During the meeting, participants discussed necessary reforms, challenges faced, successes achieved, and potential strategies to enhance the program’s effectiveness.

“A Well-thought-out strategic approach is needed to realizing the Feed Salone agenda is critical in ensuring success.” Bio remarked.

President Bio expressed optimism about the forward-thinking plans being implemented and reiterated the government’s unwavering dedication to transforming food production in the country.
