President Bio has expressed his deepest sympathies and condolences to the Ganda family, the Catholic Diocese, the people of Serabu and Sierra Leone over the death of Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Freetown and Bo.
He said that Archbishop Ganda was his best friend and he holds great memories about their relationship
President Bio maintained that he was a devoted Christian who lived a life of service as he was the first native-born Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Freetown in Sierra Leone.
He added that Archbishop Ganda made a significant contribution to the development of The Church and the spreading of Roman Catholicism in Sierra Leone, and expressed thanks and honour to him for his immense contribution to the religious harmony the country is enjoying currently.
“We will miss him dearly. May his soul rest in eternal peace until the Last Day of the Resurrection when we shall all meet again. Amen!” he summed up.
