President Julius Maada Bio on Monday joined other Muslim faithful in Kono to perform the Eid-el-Fitr prayer.
This joined as the President extended his wishes to a;; Sierra Leonean Muslims as they mark this year’s Eid-ul-Fitri which marks the end of the 30 days of Ramadan fasting and prayers.
“Eid Mubarak from my Family to yours. Fatima and I are celebrating Eid in Kono. On this day, all across this country, Sierra Leoneans have prayed together and will feast together in a spirit of cohesion and mutual respect that has defined and kept our nation together.”, President Bio wrote on social media.
