The Director of the Center for Accountability and Rule of Law, Ibrahim Tommy, has praised President Julius Maada Bio for implementing key reforms aimed at strengthening Sierra Leone’s judiciary system.
Tommy lauded the president’s efforts in improving the welfare of judges, magistrates, and other officials within the justice sector, highlighting that these steps have enhanced judicial operations across the country.
“Today, we have more judges in hard-to-reach areas than ever before,” Tommy stated, underscoring the government’s commitment to expanding access to justice in rural regions.
He also noted that President Bio’s administration has created a conducive environment for reforms, ensuring a more equitable justice system for all Sierra Leoneans.
The judiciary reforms are part of broader efforts by the Bio government to improve governance and uphold the rule of law in the country.
