The Electricity Distribution Supply Authority (EDSA) has informed customers that they are planning to shut down commercial sales of credit tokens on Friday 17 February 2023.

EDSA made this announcement in a public notice issued today, 15 February 2023.

The notice states that the shutdown will commence on Friday 17 February and last until Monday 20 February 2023. EDSA notes that the shutdown is as a result of them switching from their old system to incorporate the newly installed one, called the Integrated Management System (IMS).

“The new system (IMS) will Go-Live on the 21st of February 2023 and we advise our valued customers to buy sufficient Tokens from now on till Friday at 6:00 PM before the shutdown period,” EDSA states.
