A fatal motorcycle crash on September 18, 2025, at Mono Junction near the police checkpoint on the Bo-Kenema Highway resulted in the confirmed deaths of two men, with the third individual’s status still to be confirmed.

According to Sarah Kallay Blog, Abdul Turay has been confirmed as one of the decease and the rider of the motorcycle.

Police are yet to release an official statement regarding the said accident but according to Alicious Swaray (Sarah Kallay Blog), those involved in the tragic accident are from Ngiegun Luawa
