The moment heads of institutions or rich individuals begin to thing they are above the law then society crumbles.
This is in reference to recent allegations of bullying and sexual harassment at Rokel Commercial Bank. It is now the subject of an investigation, and the Bank Governor is furious as it is the Managing Director Ekundayo Gilpin who is in the center of all of these. He has a lot to be worried about.

“I am surprised as a woman that the Bar Association of which she is a member has not commented or taken a lead in making a statement in support of their colleague,” she a former senior official at the Bank who said she went through the same harassment a few years ago but left because it was too much for her. “Why do you think as a boss you should sleep with all the women you employ regardless of their marital status,” she fumed.
The said victim has produced substantial and shocking evidence to back up her claim which includes inappropriate ‘one way’ text messages sent to her from a foreign WhatsApp number used by her boss.
Rokel Bank, she alleges vehemently, is overcrowded with concubines or families of concubines and most of them are inexperienced and unqualified.
“I have no regret leaving because it almost me my marriage,” she said categorically. And she also alleged that she knows two others who were denied employment although they later secured jobs at the Bank of Sierra Leone. We will not name them for obvious reasons.
