On the 27th of August 2022, the Leader of Government Business in the well of Sierra Leone’s Parliament Hon Mathew Sahr Nyuma attended the inaugural ceremony of the newly elected SLPP North America Minnesota Executives.

The Leader of Government Business served as a guest speaker in which he admonished the SLPP family in Minnesota America to keep making a difference in the political landscape of Sierra Leone.

As he cataloged some of the developmental strides of President Bio, Hon. Mathew Nyuma described President Bio as an ordained, God-fearing, God-sent, trustworthy, loving, caring, and developmentally oriented leader and thus deserves to lead Sierra Leone citing that, the President has a great potential to make Sierra Leone an enviable nation in terms of development.

Hon. Nyuma said President Bio is a leader who is ready to sacrifice for his people at any time and that President is the only option for Sierra Leoneans.

In highlighting some of the achievements gained by President Bio and the New Direction over the past years, Hon. Nyuma pointed out President Bio’s Free Quality Education, human capital development, infrastructural development, health, peace and national cohesion, youth empowerment, the repeal of part five of the public order act, adult education, improvement in the energy sector, safe drinking water, inter-personal relations with other countries all over the world, capacity building for young people, the improvement of sports, to name but few.

Leader of Government Business called on their members to continue supporting the developmental agenda of the President stating that with President Bio there will be light at the end of the Tunnel for all Sierra Leoneans.

Hon. Mathew Sahr Nyuma was presented an Honorary award for his dedication and lifelong service to the Ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party.
