Fatima Maada Bio, First Lady of Sierra Leone, has sparked widespread speculation following a cryptic social media post that seems to target an unnamed individual.

In her post, she stated: “Just because I don’t call you out on your fakeness, doesn’t mean I don’t know about it. Don’t mistake my silence for stupidity. We run things, things don’t run us. Wait and see.”

This post comes amidst rumors of a growing tension between the First Lady and the Chief Minister, fueled by recent online interactions and comments. Earlier, Fatima Maada Bio publicly praised Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh for his pivotal role in securing Sierra Leone’s successful bid for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact.

However, her failure to acknowledge Chief Minister David Sengeh’s contributions in the same process sparked debates among ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) supporters.

The First Lady’s recent comment that ‘the Chief Minister is not the President’ added to the growing speculation, with many interpreting it as a reflection of an internal divide within the ruling SLPP. Supporters of the party have reportedly taken sides, deepening discussions about possible tensions between key figures in the government.”

As the rumors continue to swirl, the First Lady’s cryptic post has only added to the intrigue, leaving citizens to wonder about the underlying dynamics within the country’s leadership.
