Mr Kanneh also paid tribute to the outgoing Commissioner General for her work and achievements and called on staff to support the new administration through unity and collective effort.

He said effective revenue collection remains critical to supporting government programmes and national development, while highlighting the importance of strengthening taxpayer engagement, improving the public image of the NRA and maximising the benefits of ongoing reforms and innovations.

The ceremony also marked the assumption of office by newly appointed Deputy Commissioner General 2, Ing. Edmond Benjamin Nonie. He thanked President Bio for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work closely with staff to contribute to the Authority’s mandate.

Deputy Commissioner General 1, Mrs. Ann-Marie Baby Harding, commended the outgoing leadership and welcomed the new administration. She pledged her support to the Commissioner General and his deputy, while urging staff to uphold teamwork, cooperation and professionalism.
