PPRC Initiates Training for District Multi-Party Forum Members

The Political Parties Regulation Commission of Sierra Leone with support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), initiated training for members of the District Multi-Party Forum on Monday, September 18th, 2023.

The establishment of the PPRCSL is constitutionally provided for in sections 34 and 35 of the 1991 constitution.

The training encompasses chiefdoms within the Sao, Kamara, and Gbense chiefdoms in the eastern part of Sierra Leone’s Kono District.

This initiative falls under the reintegration mechanism for various political parties, aimed at fostering unity and maintaining a harmonious working relationship within these communities.
