The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Henry Musa Kpaka has participated in the launch of a $9.8million regional project in Dakar, Senegal. (Tramadol)
According to the minister, the project is meant to benefit four countries including Sierra Leone which is focused at supporting women owned or operated businesses in the post-production segment of the rice value chain, adding that, 210 such businesses will be liable to get a matching grants, training and links to the market that will allow them boost their businesses greatly.
He mainlined that; the project which is titled “Empowering women businesses in the rice value chains” will seek to address multiple challenges central to the FeedSalone initiative by President Bio adding that, it may give them vast opportunities ranging from rice value chain development, economic empowerment of women, business development for women and more.
He thanked the Islamic Development Bank group for designing and funding as well as the United Nations Development Program in Sierra Leone and the UNDP Africa for the coordination and implementation of the project.
By the Grace of God , hope people will not use their office to deprive the beneficiary . As it’s correctly happen to the disables. Some are still suffering in the hands of NAcsa. Over 3_400 of disabled in Pujehun district have not yet receive their money.
Mr president and his minister we the good citizen of this nation are really praying for this said to benefit the real penificialest, reason why I am saying this suchlike projects have come and gone in our country and still seeing people that are tangible givers of those money remaining in abject porvartie because of their country men in actorith are not in the position to let’s their voice be heard. So they use theirs own either political party arrangements or their family party arrangements.
So to me is not about the givens of the money is how these money will reach to the real penificialest. So I don’t know what our country government is putting in place for the real penificialest to handle this money or material if possible. I’m really really asking on government and it’s donor partiener to hang heads together to make sure that these bigger amounts of money reached to the real penificialest reason best let’s it’s not be as usual as its has happened before this time. Please don’t disturb the poor amount you thinking by giving them little. If in any case let all be shaw equaly.as how it’s is supposed too.
