The Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority delegation, headed by the Director General Mrs. Musayeroh Barrie and technical team attended the Nineth Edition (9th) of the AFRI-AVIATION Week of which over 50 countries in Africa and Indian ocean participanted in the events hosted in Liberville, Gabon.

The objective of the events is to review the latetst development in aviation, the evolution of the aviation performance in all ICAO Strategic in the AFI region, key priorities and issues related to capacity building in the region.

The Director General of Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority Mrs. Musayeroh Barrie was the Chairperson of the Panellists that was selected by the AFI-AVIATION Stakeholders to discuss various initiatives in and for Africa, share success stories and Challenges, and agree on relevant strategies to futher enhance aviation performance in the region. The Panilists of Expert in Civil Aviation Safety/Security discuss issues related to the implementation in all ICAO Strategic objectives (Safety, Air Navigation Capacity and Efficiency, Aviation Security, Economic Development of Air Transport and Environmental Protection).

As an expert in Civil Aviation Security and Safety matters in the Africa Region, the Director General of Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority Mrs. Musayeroh Barrie was honored to chaired the Panellists of Aviation Safety Experts as a moderator of the 27th, AFI Plan Steering Committee Meetings organised by the African and Indian Ocean Civil Aviation Authorities, due to her unwavering Commitments, dedication, and vast experience in Civil Aviation Safety and Security.
