The Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA), led by Executive Director Mr. James Baggie Bio, is actively working to clear illegal garages along Model Junction as part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety in Freetown.
The initiative aims to facilitate a smoother flow of traffic and provide designated parking spaces for bike riders.
The intensified move is intended to reduce the risk of accidents and road crashes, thereby prioritizing the safety and security of pedestrians and all road users.

The authorities have affirmed the importance of road safety for every user, stating, “Road safety is a great concern of the Management of SLRSA. Strident measures are being implemented to ensure that the roads are safe for all and at all times.”
