President Julius Maada Bio has made a public plea to running mate of the National Grand Coalition Andrew Keilie to return home to the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) saying “Home is home.”

“I will like to invite him to come back to my Party,” he announced, adding loudly that he is extending the invitation because he believes Andrew Keilie should come back home, stating “No place like home.”

Awoko reports that President Bio said after Sierra Leone qualified for the 2022 African Nations Cup, Andrew Keilie in his popular column ‘Ponder my Thought’ wrote about his blessing as President and success in taking the nation back to the tournament after 25 years sleeping.

He describe 2021 as a year of blessing for the country based on its successes home and abroad based on his leadership style and fight against corruption, appreciating the media for its continuous stance in keeping the government on its toes.

It could be recalled that Andrew Keilie is one of the founding fathers of the National Grand Coalition (NGC) party after he and some other Members of the SLPP broke away from the party for some reasons they believe are unbearable.
