Sierra Leone: The US, UK and EU had made it clearer to President Julius Maada Bio, Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, SLPP, the courts and institutions across in Sierra Leone to ensure Free, Fair, Credible and Inclusive 2023 election.

The United States Government through the USAID, Defense and State Departments, the UK and EU continue to provide resources, training and support to the government of President Julius Maada Bio, Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh and SLPP to ensure the legal structure, democratic principles and practices and openness underpinning the electoral processes, voter registration, ballot distribution, polling procedures, voter education and training of election officers in the run up of the 2023 election in Sierra Leone.

The International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (‘the IDEA’), the International Foundation for Systems (IFES), the EU Electoral Standards and the Venice Commission’s Code of Good Practice in Electoral Matters, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (referred to in this report as ‘the OSCE / ODIHR’), the world bank, United Nations, IMF and Amnesty International continue to monitor and support President Julius Maada Bio, Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh and SLPP in their effort to deliver the goal of free and fair elections in accordance with the stipulations of international law. From 2018-2022, Sierra Leoneans and the world envisioned a sustained life of dignity, security and free of intimidation. Instead Sierra Leoneans and the world saw the brutal killings and forced burials of youths, mothers, fathers, Evangelist Samson, cost of living protesters, northerners, north westerners and prisoners

America’s report card on President Julius Maada Bio’s SLPP and the rest of the KENYEI MUIE- President Julius Maada Bio, Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, Bank Governor Kelfala Marana Kallon (Prof), Finance Minister Dennis Vandi, Chief Minister Jacob Jusu Saffa, Internal Affairs Minister Lahai Lawrence Leema, Information Minister Mohamed Rahman Swarray, Foreign Affairs Minister Professor Dr David John Francis, Basic Education Minister Dr David Moinina Sengeh and SLPP.

America’s Report Card reads:

“The unlawful arrest, detention, door to door killing of political opponents and intimidation from 2018-2022 were so significant that the international rage and outcry collapsed the insurmountable distance between old and new horrors. Under President Julius Maada Bio, Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh and SLPP government, significant human rights issues included credible reports of: unlawful or arbitrary killings by the government; cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment by government or on behalf of government; harsh and life-threatening prison conditions; arbitrary arrest or detention; serious government corruption; existence of laws criminalizing consensual same-sex sexual conduct between adults, although the laws were not enforced; and existence of the worst forms of child labor had been reported.” President Julius Maada Bio political career, SLPP and NPRC government at every turn, are maximized for intimidation, brutal killing and forced burial of victims.” In the 1992 NPRC government of President Julius Maada Bio, Inspector of Police Bambay Kamara and 19 others were executed, and President Julius Maada Bio ordered their execution. President Tejan Kabba SLPP government executed Sierra Leoneans. The International Criminal Court, Hague, Netherlands had documented the role played by Alie Kabba, President Julius Maada Bio and SLPP governments.

America, the UK and EU warned President Julius Maada Bio, Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh and SLPP to completely reframe from undemocratic principles and practices in the run of the 2023 election. Democracy, the rule of law, rights, freedom, precious traditions we hold dearly and fairer representation can replace the despair across in Sierra Leone with a life of dignity. Let the people of Sierra Leone exercise their rights and freedom to choose their leaders without the government, ruling party-SLPP and courts use of intimidation, undue pressure and defective information. America, the UK and EU stand shoulder to should with the people of Sierra Leone to experience peaceful, fair and free election. Respectfully forwarded by
