The Opposition All People’s Congress Member of Parliament, Hon Osman Timbo was recently attacked by unidentified armed individuals at his residence in Freetown.

“..once again God came through for us.” Timbo said announcing the incident to the public.

According to him armed men break into his residence and attacked himself together with his family but fortunately they were saved through the mercy of God.

“We are well and in good spirit. Thank you to all those who called, sent messages, prayed, etc. for us. We believe that the God that saved us on that day will continue to watch over us.” Timbo stated.

The incident raised serious alarms debates within the political sphere about the safety and security of opposition Members of Parliament (MPs).

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and investigations are underway to ascertain the identities and affiliations of the assailants.

As investigations proceed to unravel the matter, the APC members of parliament condemn the act as they call for enhanced security measures to safeguard the lives and well-being of them who play a vital role in the democratic process.
