The Executive Chairman of Bo Rangers, Babadi Kamara and a cross-section of his Executive, on Friday, visited East End Tigers’ goalkeeper, Alhaji Nyelenkeh, who sustained a broken leg on Monday during their match against Mighty Blackpool at Police Field.

The Executive Chairman gave words of encouragement to the player and asked that Allah see him through his pains in the month of Ramadan. Babadi encouraged him to be strong, promising to visit him again by ‘Allah’s grace.

In his response, Alhaji thanked Babadi for coming and for the financial assistance he rendered to him. He prayed for a successful operation to be able to play football again.

Meanwhile, Mighty Blackpool striker Donald Wellington (Korbor Korbor), whom Alhaji collided with during the match, visited the goalkeeper on Thursday. He told alhaji that it was not intentional and asked for his forgiveness. Wellington prayed for Alhaji to regain his strength and hope to play with him again in the future.

The Tigers’ goalkeeper thanked him for coming and emphasized that it was meant to be and he’s sure of coming back. Both players spent over 2 hours talking about football.

Minister of Sports Ibrahim Nyelenkeh also visited his younger brother. “As a family, we stand by him, and we thank East End Tigers’ CEO, Victor Lewis, for a job well done, especially in making sure he gets back to normal”.

Surgery is expected to be done on Monday, 25th April, by Dr Lavalie.
