Former Leone Stars Coach, Sellas Teteh has been reportedly sick in Ghana and facing financial challenges.

Teteh, who was recently in the news called on Ghanaians and other philanthropists to come to his aid, after lately facing financial challenges couple with his deteriorating health conditions.

On August 14, 2015, Tetteh was given a temporary contract for three months, to become caretaker of the Sierra Leone national team. In March 2016, he left his position as Ghana under-20 manager in order to continue as Sierra Leone caretaker manager.

Sella’s appointment was received with mixed feelings following information of the insistence of the Ministry of Sports that the Football Association should hire a local coach. He was replaced as Sierra Leone manager by John Keister in May 2017.

During his reign as coach of Leone Stars, his first assignment was an away game against neighbouring Liberia on September 4th in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
