FIFA Council Member Isha Johansen has today 3rd December 2021, represented the FIfA President Gianni Infantino at The WORLD LEAGUES FORUM Annual General Assembly 2021, in London, where she delivers the opening address.
The World Leagues Forum (WLF) represents Professional Football Leagues from across the world. The Forum consists of 42 MEMBER LEAGUES OF THE WORLD, representing approximately 1,100 CLUBS.
A message from the President of FIFA President Infantino, reads:“I believe it is time to reconsider how we can make football better, how we can ensure that football stays relevant in this disrupted football eco-system we live in….”

Fifa’s proposal to organise biennial World Cups for Men and Women and reforms on the International Match Calendar is expected to be met with firm objections by UEFA and Conmebol clubs and federations.
Representing FIFA at the WLF annual meeting, Fifa Council member Isha Johansen underscores the growing concerns in global football.
