The Deputy Minister Planning and Economic Development, Titus Williams and the Deputy Minister of Sport, Kai Mbayo have paid visit to Gendema on Kick-starting a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Mano River Union and FIFA.

It is noted that the MOU might help to boost the facility and sporting activities generally in Malema.

The Mano River Union (MRU) Secretary General Ambassador, Maria G Harrison was also part of the team.

According to the views from different parties, the engagement will boost regional sport development, youth empowerment and enhancing the peace and unity within the MRU participating countries.

In light of this, the secretary general for the MRU has been visiting the different countries in terms of strengthening the peace and existing unity amongst them at all times.

The Mano River Union (MRU) is made up of four West African countries including Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Ivory Coast.
