Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh, shared joy and happiness among young players as he witnessed a football match at Parade Field in Freetown.
The Central One Football Association (COFA) match between Wilkinson road and Kissy Community was gloomy until the presence of the Chief Minister encouraging and cheering the players.
Sengeh, as a way of encouragement, donated two sets of jerseys together with footballs to both teams.
The match ended gleefully as the Chief minister posed for pictures and exchanged handshakes with players in congratulations.
Sengeh also presented the man of the match certificate to Mighty Blackpool Winger, Mohamed Forbie who represented Kissy Community in the match.

May God continue to guide you, Dr. Sengeh. You are such an inspiration to our youths. You are highly educated, articulate, and yet still, down to earth. These are the kinds of leaders that’s needed in our country. We don’t need all these old recycle politicians, who just don’t want to retire to their front porches, and sip on their favourite beverages. I am very impressed with this guy. Credit should be given to President Bio, who spotted the talent in him, and brought him to Salone. Additionally, he gave him this key position, and look at how the guy is making a difference in the country. Bravo to you, Dr. Sengeh.
