Sierra Leone Senior And U-17 Female Teams Arrive in Kenema Ahead of Friendly Tournament
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Sierra Leone Senior and U- 17 female national teams have arrived in Kenema ahead of the Ram Kay and Sierra Leone football Association tournament. The two national teams arrived in kenema on 28 February, 2024.
Coinciding with International Women’s Day on March 8th, the tournament will also feature the U-17 and U-20 women’s national teams of Sierra Leone. This initiative serves as a strong representation of both countries uniting with the global community to advocate for gender equality and women’s.
Sierra Queens will clash with Liberia U20 while the Sierra Leone U-17 will lock horns with Liberia U-17 Lone Star.
This tournament provides a valuable opportunity for young female athletes to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience while promoting gender equality in the world of football.
