The Sierra Leone Football Association has given its position on the press release issued by the Union of Premier League Clubs and has stated that it does not recognize neither aware of the operations of the said union.
The SLFA has reminded all premier league clubs that they are under obligation to respect and strictly comply with relevant provisions of the SLFA statutes and declaration to which they all signed up to.
The FA has called on all clubs to use the appropriate channel within the structures of the FA to resolve disputes and maintained that punitive actions will be instituted against defaulters.
Meanwhile some premier league clubs had earlier disassociated themselves from the decision of the so-called Union of Premier League Clubs to boycott the ongoing league in the country.
